The White Leaf urn is a full size, individual urn, intended for your loved one's cremains.

The method I use to create this pattern begins with a grid drawing, in pencil on the bone dry (greenware) urn. Many hours go into creating this urn… after it is made at the potters wheel it is then trimmed and carved to create the base. The leaf pattern is painted on the dry clay with a resist. The clay is then rubbed away with a wet sponge, leaving the resist pattern raised above the rest of the surface. It is then fired twice to attain the final outcome.

The White Leaf urn is one of a kind and measures 12″ h x 7″w. and will hold up to 200 cubic inches **.

** One cubic inch = One pound of live weight.

All of my pottery is handmade, one piece at a time. All sizes are approximate, meaning they may vary slightly in size… maybe 1/4-1/2″.
